This Privacy Policy explains how Codekyt Software LLP (“Codekyt”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses and protects personal information through codekyt.com.
Scope. This policy covers the codekyt.com website — our services pages, portfolio, blog and enquiry forms. Our mobile applications are covered by a separate policy at https://apps.codekyt.com/legal/privacy/, because they collect different information in different ways: our apps store your content on your device, use no cookies, and have no accounts. 1. Information we collect
1.1 Information you give us
When you contact us through a form on this site, request a quote, subscribe to updates or correspond with us by email, we collect what you choose to send — typically your name, email address, phone number, company name and the contents of your message.
We ask only for information reasonably necessary to respond or provide the requested service. You do not need to provide personal information to browse the site.
1.2 Information collected automatically
When you visit, our servers and analytics tools record technical information: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, language preferences, referring URL, the pages you view, and the date and time of your visit.
We use this to keep the site secure and working, and to understand in aggregate which pages are useful. We do not attempt to identify individual visitors from it.
1.3 Blog comments and submissions
If you comment on a post or submit content, we store what you submit together with the email address and IP address associated with it, so we can moderate for spam and abuse.
2. Cookies and similar technologies

6. Sharing your information

If Codekyt is involved in a merger, reorganisation, financing or transfer of business assets, information may be disclosed to the relevant parties subject to appropriate confidentiality and data-protection safeguards.
Some of these providers process data outside India, including in the European Union and the United States. Where required, those transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
7. Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected:
- Enquiries and correspondence: up to 3 years from our last contact, so we can pick up a conversation and handle any follow-up
- Client and financial records: for the periods required by Indian tax and company law
- Analytics data: according to our analytics provider’s retention settings, after which it is deleted or aggregated
- Comments: until you or we remove them
We delete or anonymise information once the applicable period expires.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time.
If you are in the EEA, UK or Switzerland, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
If you are a California resident, you have rights under the CCPA/CPRA to know, delete and correct personal information and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA.
To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We will respond within the period required by applicable law and may need to verify your identity. A right may be limited where an exception under applicable law applies; if so, we will explain the reason where legally permitted.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information — encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), access controls, and keeping collection to a minimum. No method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you by email and will notify the relevant authorities where the law requires it.
10. Children
This website is aimed at businesses and professional clients. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 through this site. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Third-party links
Our site links to other websites, including our own apps’ pages and third-party services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of sites we do not operate. Read their policies before providing them with information.
12. Governing law
This policy is governed by the laws of India. The courts at Panchkula, Haryana have jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory privacy, consumer or procedural rights available under the law of your country of residence.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always posted at this address with its “Last updated” date. Where a change is material, we will make it prominent on the site before it takes effect.
